Most new printers are designed
to support “Plug
and Play” technology and are likely to be automatically recognized
by your computer once connected to a home printer.
Drivers for most of the commonly purchased printers have been pre-installed
on each student computer, so there should be no need to load specific
drivers or to use the software that came with your printer when it
was purchased. If that is not the case, STUDENTS HAVE PRIVILEGES TO INSTALL HOME PRINTER DRIVERS ON THEIR LAPTOPS DURING THE 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR. Only drivers may be installed- no additional applications.
