ALL New teachers (Veteran & 0 Year experience) report to their HOME SCHOOL.

-Mentor Coordinator meets with 0 year experience teachers for the 1st unit of Fred Jones Tools for Teaching

-Veteran teachers are welcome to join the Mentor Coordinator meeting or work in their classroom

-ALL New teachers have the afternoon to work in their classroom

- All Secondary teachers have Technology Training at their school
- Mentor coordinator meets with the 0 year experience teachers the 2nd unit of Fred Jones Tools for Teaching
- Veteran Secondary teachers have the afternoon to work in their classroom.

- All Secondary teachers have Technology Training at their school
- All New teachers have the afternoon to work in their classroom.

NOTES

- Welcome from Leadership Team
- Mentor Coordinator and mentors meet with new teachers
- Ensure all new teachers have materials and supplies to work on setting up their room
- Ensure that the basic teaching tools are available so the new teachers can begin to prepare for instruction (Pacing guides, textbooks, curriculum organizers, etc.)
- 1 hour Technology Training to help with logging into new computer.

-New teachers will be introduced to the School Board, Superintendent, Central Office.
- They will also participate in sessions with Staff Development, Human Resources, and Student Activities

ALL new teachers bring their fully charged computer and power cords to Hermitage High School.

ALL new teachers should bring their fully charged laptop and power cords to technology training. ALL new SECONDARY teachers should bring their fully charged laptop and power cords to technology training.
