New teachers must be added to the HR database, the technology database, and their school before they can use ero. Before HR can enter new teachers into their system, teachers must have completed orientation, and all HR requirements for employment.

The state of Virginia requires all new and new-to-HCPS teachers to complete TSIPs- Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel.
If you graduated from a Virginia college or University with a degree in education after December 1998, you do not have to complete TSIPs- they were built into your educational program.
If you are transferring to Henrico from anther county or state, you must provide proof of completion of the TSIPs to be exempt from this process.
Ask your staff development planner or ITRT for clarification if you need help.
